PoweringSTEM (5013c nonprofit) is excited to announce that our first hackathon has concluded. Over the course of our 5 day hackathon we had 360+ participants from 31 different countries and 6 continents! The hackers competed for an eye-catching prize pool of $20,000 worth of prizes from our sponsors and $300+ in cash prizes. Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, and speakers that made this possible. We are especially thankful for our speakers who came out and hosted a workshop or hosted the introductory/closing ceremony: Anna Miller, Tenay Barker, Daniel Mainville, Sambhav Jain and to our judges Sambhav Jain and Ayush Sekhari.
We will be hosting another hackathon in the near future, and have several other STEM related outreach and exposure events/workshops through our 5013c Nonprofit PoweringSTEM.
